Her training studio is designed to cater to your unique fitness needs and goals with a personalized approach to help you achieve desired results.

After studying human nutrition at Notre Dame College of Ohio and Winthrop University in South Carolina, she commenced her career with a certification in sports nutrition and personal training.

During her tenure at Bally Total Fitness in Charlotte, she catered to the unique fitness requirements of a diverse clientele. Subsequently, she ventured into the weight loss industry and garnered national recognition for her exceptional customer service and success rates while working with LA Weight Loss.

In 2009, Jacqueline relocated to Tampa, Florida and established her first private fitness studio which won best in Tampa for multiple years serving thousands of clients. Her training approach and philosophy revolves around promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle. She strives to help clients achieve their fitness goals sustainably and effectively.

In 2022, Jacqueline moved to Charlotte, NC and opened The Fitness Studio in Piper Glen mimicking her Tampa studio. Her expert trainers are passionate about pushing boundaries and challenging you to go beyond your limits in an effort to regain confidence. She believes in offering a personalized approach to fitness instead of the one-size-fits-all approach. Her team uses a combination of InBody testing, nutrition guidance, and accountability/motivational coaching to ensure you get the best possible results.

Kayla Calobeer is a Certified Personal Trainer, Stretch Practitioner, and Nutrition Coach who helps clients transform their bodies and minds through a personalized, holistic approach to fitness. After going through her own weight-loss journey, Kayla discovered her passion for health and made it her mission to help others build confidence, strength, and balance from the inside out. 

Her coaching philosophy goes beyond workouts and meal plans—she focuses on healing the body and gut, improving energy, and creating sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle. Each program is tailored to your goals, using body scans to track real progress and keep you accountable every step of the way. 

Whether you’re starting your fitness journey or ready to reach the next level, Kayla provides the knowledge, structure, and motivation you need to succeed. Outside the gym, she stays active with her dogs and continues expanding her education through advanced certifications to bring her clients the best in fitness, recovery, and nutrition.

A Charlotte native since 1990, Adam brings a lifetime of experience here to The Fitness Studio. Holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the School of Health and Human Performance at East Carolina University, he has made his career as a Health and Fitness Specialist for more than 28 years. After acquiring certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Adam built an extensive background in the improved athletic performance arena. Having worked with recreational, scholastic, and professional athletes from around the world. Top achievers include 18 male and female Olympians (2008, 2012), 4 Olympic Medalist (2008,2012), 2 NFL athletes, 23 college scholarship athletes, and 2 PGA Tour golfers. His true passion is helping people of all ages, genders, and abilities. 

As an ASFA – Master Personal Trainer, he has designed programs  for Corporate C-Suite executives, workforce employees and their families. (Program designing for stress management, improved quality of life, and better wellbeing.) Implementing lifestyle strategies that reduce the probability of diseases like obesity, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, muscle atrophy, and the loss of functional independence. Understanding that each client is unique, Adam's holistic approach is customized for individuals and groups.

Adam Ciarla

Tamer has been an athlete his entire life, having played basketball professionally overseas, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his coaching. From an early age, he was drawn not just to the game itself but was always fascinated by the strength and conditioning aspect and how the correct program could improve performance, build resilience, and reduce the risk of injury. This early passion laid the foundation for his career in personal training building programs for longevity and better quality of life.

Tamer is a certified Strength & Conditioning Coach with over 12 years of experience, specializing in strength training, weight loss, and athletic performance development to improve strength, cardiovascular health, mobility, balance and injury prevention. He has worked with a diverse range of clients, from beginners to advanced athletes, ages 7 and up, and has successfully helped individuals build strong and resilient bodies.

He is passionate about helping each person and is deeply committed to the success and well-being of his clients, taking the time to understand their individual goals, challenges, and needs. He takes pride in building strong, supportive relationships and creates a positive, motivating environment where clients feel encouraged and empowered. His well-rounded background allows him to offer a holistic approach that integrates both fitness and nutrition to support lasting results and achieve goals through safe, effective, and personalized programs.

Tamer’s coaching goes beyond physical training as he believes ‘The Body Follows The Mind’. Emphasizing the importance of building a strong mindset to increase confidence and develop sustainable, long-term habits that support a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Wade grew up outdoors, playing every sport, he could get his hands on. That early love for movement naturally led him into a lifelong career in fitness—and sparked an unstoppable drive to help others become healthier, stronger, and more confident.

He enjoys helping adults 35 and older stay active, resilient, and forever young. With a background in human movement, functional performance, and habit-based coaching, Wade designs programs that improve strength, mobility, and energy for everyday life.

As a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Fitness Professional, Wade specializes in helping golfers unlock more power and consistency in their swing, reduce aches and pains, and extend their longevity in the game. For everyone he works with, his goal remains the same: move with confidence, prevent setbacks, and feel your best at every age.

Wade’s philosophy is simple: movement is medicine. His approach isn’t about quick fixes, it’s about building a sustainable lifestyle that keeps you strong, capable, and youthful for years to come.

Wade Haras

Mercedes Cardenas is a native of Argentina. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of INEF Romero Brest, Buenos Aires, and her master’s degree in motor skill development. She is a certified personal trainer through The American Council on Exercise, a prenatal/postnatal Specialist, Silver Fit certified, and a Health coach. 

Mercedes has advanced knowledge in anatomy, exercise science, and specific health considerations related to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the aging process. Mercedes has been developing personalized, safe, and effective fitness programs for individuals in this distinct life stage. Her focus is on building strength, improving balance, and enhancing overall well-being while adapting to unique physiological changes and potential limitations.

Mercedes is passionate when it comes to coaching the senior population since she had the opportunity to go through specialized training to develop programs that offer seniors significant benefits, including improved physical health ( stronger muscles and bones, better balance, reduced risk of fall, and better cardiovascular health), enhanced mental well-being ( boosted mood, improved cognitive function, and reduced stress), and increased independence and social engagements.
   
She is a health coach specializing in food shopping and meal prep, who educates, motivates, and guides clients to build sustainable, healthy eating habits. This specialization goes beyond general nutrition advice by focusing on the practical, real-world skills needed to translate healthy eating principles into everyday life, such as navigating grocery stores and planning and preparing meals.
